The summer semester is officially underway, and we’ve compiled our favorite OTC hacks to make your life a little easier in the coming weeks. Keep reading to learn how you can get Canvas support, online tutoring services and more.
- Sync your OTC email to your phone.
- Sign up for emergency text alerts.
If you plan to use any of our campus services this summer – labs, library, etc. – we encourage you to sign up for our emergency text alerts. These texts will notify you of any sudden campus closings or security incidents. You can sign up to receive emergency text messages at otc.edu/text.
- Get Canvas support when you need it.
Got questions about Canvas? Bring your Canvas-related questions and etext access issues to the OTC Springfield Campus, IC 104. You can also email email@example.com for support. To learn more about how to use Canvas, self-enroll in the free and optional Canvas Orientation for Students course (completion is not required and you can come and go from the class as needed).
- Take advantage of OTC’s free tutoring services.
Whether you need to work on your math, your speech, your writing or your science skills, we have online tutors ready to help you this summer. You can learn more about our tutoring sessions offered via Zoom here.
