SPRINGFIELD — Two Ozarks Technical Community College instructors have been selected to receive the Missouri Association for Career and Technical Education’s Outstanding Service Award, and the college’s Electronic Media Production program has been awarded the association’s Certificate of Appreciation Award.
Danelle Maxwell, chair of the Industrial and Manufacturing Department and an agriculture instructor, and Carl “Jim” Bridwell, welding technology instructor, have been recognized for making the highest meritorious contributions to the improvement, promotion, development and progress of career and technical education.
The certificate going to the Electronic Media Production program recognizes it as an exemplary program in career and technical education.
The awards will be presented at the opening general session of the Missouri Association for Career and Technical Education’s 47th annual summer conference at 10 a.m., July 26, 2016, at the Springfield EXPO Center.
The Missouri ACTE is an organization established to unite those who are interested in career, practical arts, technical and vocational education.
