The OTC Foundation, the fundraising division of Ozarks Technical Community College, hired Danielle Wise as its new director of development. Wise began her duties on Jan. 19.

Wise will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive development program for the OTC Foundation, which includes major gift stewardship and community engagement efforts. She will also spearhead the cultivation of private donations for the Robert W. Plaster Center for Advanced Manufacturing, which is scheduled to open in August of 2022.

A well-known figure in the Springfield non-profit community, Wise comes to OTC with a wealth of experience, having worked as the director of development and marketing at The Arc of the Ozarks since 2014. Prior to moving into a fundraising role, she served as the organization’s special events coordinator. Wise is also a former president of the Ozarks Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

“I have a passion for fundraising that makes an impact on our most vulnerable citizens,” Wise said. “I’m looking forward to working with donors who understand the immense, positive influence an education can have on an individual’s life.”

A native of Aurora, Missouri, Wise earned her master’s in communication and bachelor’s in advertising and public relations from Drury University. Wise and her husband Robert live in Springfield with their two young sons.

The OTC Foundation is the fundraising arm of Ozarks Technical Community College and exists as a separate, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
