The OTC Fine Arts department will present the musical comedy “Julie Bunny Must Die!” on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 23 at 2:30 p.m. Performances will be held at the OTC Springfield Campus in Lincoln Hall, room 211. General admission tickets are free and can be reserved online. Tickets will also be available at the door.
“Julie Bunny Must Die!” was written by longtime Springfield resident Ned Wilkinson and originally performed by Springfield Contemporary Theatre in 2011. The musical brings the audience into the world of graphic artist Adam Chase as he seeks to balance his real life with his cult-hit comic book “Julie Bunny: International Spy.”
“Julie Bunny is a very funny, very timely piece of theatre!” said Jon Herbert, director. “I think it will really appeal to artists — and really anyone who has ever known the struggle of keeping a balance between the work that you have to do to pay the bills and the work that is your heart’s desire.”
