The National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) honored Ozarks Technical Community College’s Department of Communications and Marketing with two gold Paragon Awards at its national conference, held March 27-29 in Charleston, SC. This is the first time OTC has received honors from NCMPR at the national level.
OTC’s Communications and Marketing team won first place for its “Go Ahead. Finish it.” graduation poster series and the OTC Online radio ad, “So You’re Thinking about Going to College.”
“We are thrilled to have our team’s hard work recognized with these Paragon Awards among so many of our talented peer institutions,” said Mark Miller, OTC college director of communications and marketing. “I am especially excited that these communication pieces have been effective for the college. Our graduate attendance at commencement increased last year, and OTC Online’s enrollment continues to grow.”
NCMPR’s prestigious Paragon Awards recognize outstanding achievement in design, marketing and communication at community and technical colleges. The national competition is the only of its kind that honors excellence exclusively among marketing and PR professionals at two-year colleges.
