The Ozarks Technical Community College Richwood Valley Campus will host a 5K Run and Fall Festival on Saturday, October 8. The 5K Fun Run and Walk begins at 5:30 p.m. The Fall Festival kicks off at 6:30 p.m. The OTC Richwood Valley Campus is located north of Highway 14 between Nixa and Ozark.
The Physical Therapist Assistant Fun Run and Walk has become an annual event at the Richwood Valley Campus to support the OTC Physical Therapist Assistant program. The course winds through the hills and woods of the Richwood Valley campus. The 5K run is two laps of the running trail and costs $25. The cost for the one-lap fun run and walk is $20. All proceeds go toward the Anton “Tony” Diullo Memorial Scholarship Fund for Physical Therapist Assistant students. On-site registration is available beginning at 5 p.m.
The Richwood Valley Fall Festival, sponsored by the OTC Collegiate Farm Bureau Chapter, begins at 6:30 p.m. The event features a free chili dinner, bonfires, bounce houses for children, a mechanical bull, axe throwing and live music by the Honkytonk Renovators. The Fall Festival is free.
