Ozarks Tech students will have opportunities to take part in two different industry career fairs in the coming weeks at the college’s Springfield campus.

The Transportation Career Fair is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, in the MHC Diesel Technician Training Center in the Industry Transportation and Technology Center (ITTC building). Students interested in a career in automotive, collision, and diesel-related fields will be able to network with approximately 40 local businesses to explore careers and learn about internship opportunities.

Later in the month, students are also invited to attend the Manufacturing Career Fair, scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 21, in the high bay area of the Plaster Manufacturing Center. Students will have similar opportunities to mingle with approximately 25 companies, learn more about careers and internships, and learn about the advantages of working in the field.

These events are open to all Ozarks Tech students, no matter their major. For more information on the Transportation Career Fair, contact Gabe McLaughlin at mclaughg@otc.edu. For information about the Manufacturing Career Fair, contact Landon Vinson at vinsonl@otc.edu.
