OTC’s Counseling Services department and numerous community agencies hosted the Clothesline Project in the Jared Family Atrium on Tuesday, April 28.
The Clothesline Project is a national effort to raise awareness about the devastating effects of relationship and domestic violence. The project spreads a message of hope while providing resources to those involved in violent relationships.
Several OTC students and employees participated in Clothesline Project on Tuesday. Twenty-five t-shirts were created by individuals affected by domestic violence. The shirts — now hanging on a clothesline in the Jared Family Atrium — are a powerful, visual reminder that we all have a responsibility to End the Silence surrounding domestic violence. The t-shirts will be on display through Friday, May 1.
