Summer classes begin with nearly 5,000 students, up 8.8 percent

With summer classes beginning today, enrollment at Ozarks Technical Community College has increased once again.  A total of 4,900 students are enrolled this summer, 8.8 percent higher than the summer of 2010.

“Our summer enrollment has seen incredible growth in recent years,” explained Dr. Hal Higdon, president of Ozarks Technical Community College.  “Students from other colleges and universities, as well as those hoping to get a head start on their freshman year, are helping to drive the enrollment increases for summer.”
