Student organization raising money for Hurricane Sandy victims

The Spanish club at Ozarks Technical Community College, El Club de Espaol, is raising money for Hurricane Sandy victims through sales of tamales and traditional tres leches cakes. Fifty percent of the proceeds will be given to Convoy of Hope to help with Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

The items will be available Tuesday and Wednesday, November 13 and 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Jared Family Atrium on the OTC Springfield Campus. Tamales are $2.50 each, $9 for one half dozen, or $17 for one dozen; the cakes are $3.50 each.
