OTC’s technical education students will be among many other participating in Friday’s rescheduled district SkillsUSA competition at the Springfield campus. The competition was rescheduled due to snow.

Competitions will be held in Automotive Collision Repair, Advertising Design, Health Knowledge Bowl, Television Production, Video Product Development, Preschool Teaching Assistant, Welding and SkillsUSA technical written tests.

Winners of the district contests will be eligible to compete in the state contest to be held March 31-April 2 at Linn State Technical College.

The nationals are held in the summer in Kansas City. Last year, six OTC students won top honors there.
