Ozarks Technical Community College’s Adult Education and Literacy program received the High Quality Program award from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The award recognized five out of 38 AEL programs in the state for achieving positive student outcomes while maintaining a high degree of fiscal integrity in program operations.
Missouri’s Office of Career, Technical and Adult Education measured the following student outcomes for award consideration: program progression, High School Equivalency attainment, employment, retained employment, and entrance into post-secondary education.
“I would like to congratulate our hard-working AEL instructors and staff,” said Ramona George, college director of Adult Education and Literacy. “The High Quality Program award reflects our continued dedication to student achievement and success.”
