Hollister, Mo. – Ozarks Technical Community College’s Table Rock Campus in Hollister is inviting area high school students and families to explore the campus and get a better understanding of what to expect as they transition to college life on Monday, Nov. 16, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.  The event called OTC 101 is designed to allow potential OTC students to receive valuable information about the things that matter most to them, like how to pay for college and what is required for different academic and technical programs.

“We were able to showcase the Table Rock Campus to more than 200 high school students in September during our Discover OTC event, but OTC 101 will allow students and their families to focus on those topics that are of greatest value to them,” said Cliff Davis, OTC Table Rock Campus president.

Participants at OTC 101 will have the opportunity to tour the facility, visit with an admissions counselor, and attend sessions about the Missouri A+ Program, financial aid, and how to choose an appropriate degree program. Students will also have the chance to talk with a representative from Missouri State University about transferring from OTC to complete a bachelor’s degree at MSU, and interact with a panel of organizations with scholarship funds available, including the Community Foundation of the Ozarks and Junior Auxiliary of Taney County.
