Students representing the various technical programs of Ozarks Technical Community College brought home a total of 10 medals from the National SkillsUSA competition, held recently in Kansas City, Mo.  OTC’s students brought home seven first-place medals, one second-place medal, and two third-place medals; an additional 15 students placed in the competition.

This year’s event included more than 5,600 students competing in 94 different trade, technical and leadership fields.  The results for Ozarks Technical Community College’s students are as follows:

7th – Nathan Frazo – Commercial Baking

7th – Josh Williams, Karey Stewart – 3-D Visualization and Animation

9th – Cody Martin – Collision Repair Technology

10th – Glen Noel – Technical Computer Applications

17th – Jessica DeMalia – Collision Repair Technology

18th – Jim Bowlin, Tyler Dudley, Jesse Hunziger – Welding Fabrication

19th – Victor Mitchell – Industrial Motor Control

19th – Ben King – Industrial Motor Control
