SPRINGFIELD, MO.  – Ozarks Technical Community College’s annual Community Day event was featured in an extensive story in the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations’ magazine.

Community Day, held each spring as a thank you to the community by providing demonstrations, hands-on projects, health screenings and family-friendly activities from the college’s various departments and programs, was spotlighted in the October issue of NCMPR’s national magazine “Counsel.”

The magazine is circulated to thousands of members in community colleges across the U.S. and Canada. The story centered on how Community Day was started and how it has grown in popularity just a few years. A number of photos from the event accompanied the story.

This spring’s annual Community Day is set for April 27, with new features for kids to see and do along with more demonstrations, programs and presentations for visitors to come and enjoy.
