Ozarks Technical Community College honored Bob and Susan Beine with a ceremony to name the Bob & Susan Beine Lobby on Thursday, Aug. 25. The newly named Bob & Susan Beine Lobby is located on the first floor of the Norman K. Myers building at the OTC Springfield Campus.
“We are grateful to Bob and Susan for their long-standing commitment to OTC,” said Dr. Hal Higdon, chancellor of Ozarks Technical Community College. “In addition to supporting our automotive programs and student scholarships, they have been tremendous advocates for the college’s mission.”
Bob Beine, owner of the Republic Ford Lincoln dealership, is an avid supporter of the college’s automotive programs. He has served on the OTC Foundation Board of Directors since 2009. Mr. Beine and his wife offer an academic scholarship to students through the OTC Foundation each year.
“We are proud to support OTC,” said Mr. Beine. “It’s important for us to invest in our community, our youth, and the students who are striving to better themselves through the college’s educational opportunities and training programs.”
The OTC Foundation, now in its 19th year of operation, works to meet the ever-increasing needs of Ozarks Technical Community College through the funding of scholarships, new programs, and capital improvement projects. The foundation is currently conducting a $15 million campaign to support these initiatives titled Passion. Purpose. Promise. ─ The Campaign for OTC.
