OTC program director receives national recognition

OTC Program Director Doug Pursley was selected as a Fellow of the AARC by the American Association for Respiratory Care. The award was established in 1998 to recognize individuals who made a profound and lasting contribution to the profession of respiratory care and the AARC.

The 2014 Fellows were formally inducted during the AARC’s 60th International Respiratory Congress, which was held December 9-12, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nev.

There are more than 120,000 respiratory therapists in the United States – approximately 297 are Fellows of the AARC. On average, 19 individuals are inducted into the Fellows of the AARC each year.
