Ozarks Technical Community College will offer three performances of “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” Nov. 20-22 at the Gillioz Theater in downtown Springfield. All performances are free to OTC students, faculty and staff.
“It’s a Wonderful Life,” made famous by the movie starring Jimmy Stewart, is a story about George Bailey who thinks that things would be better if he had never been born, and he receives a gift from Heaven – the opportunity to see what his world would be like without him in it.
“It’s a wonderful reflection on the great impact one person can have on his or her world and never realize it,” said Jon Herbert, OTC theater instructor.
Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. for the Friday and Saturday productions and 2:30 p.m. for the Sunday matinee.
OTC students and employees may attend free of charge by showing their OTC identification at the box office. Admission for the general public is $8.
