Ozarks Technical Community College’s Online Student Affairs team received the 2015 Award for Outstanding Student Services from the Instructional Technology Council. ITC is an affiliated council of the American Association of Community Colleges and represents nearly 400 institutions that offer distance education courses.
OTC’s Vanessa Germeroth, director of online student affairs, and Jessica Dickson, online instructional design and development specialist, accepted the certificate at the ITC Awards for Excellence in eLearning on Friday, Feb. 20 during the eLearning 2015 annual conference at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. OTC English instructor Karen Foresee also received recognition as a 2015 Distinguished Educator.
“I would like to congratulate and thank OTC Online for providing tremendous services to our students,” said Dr. Hal Higdon, chancellor of Ozarks Technical Community College. “I’m very proud of our staff and their accomplishments. The national recognition from ITC is well deserved.”
