A report released by Community College Week lists Ozarks Technical Community College as one of the fastest-growing community colleges in the nation last year. The College ranked fifth in the nation among schools with enrollments of 10,000 or higher, with a 9.1 percent enrollment increase from fall 2010 to fall 2011. OTC grew from 13,907 students to 15,179 students from 2010 to 2011. “We are excited to be recognized for the growth we have experienced, but these trends will only slow down as we get closer to capacity in our technical and allied health programs,” said Dr. Hal Higdon, chancellor of Ozarks Technical Community College. “If we want these trends to continue, we will have to seek out resources that will enable us to grow those high-demand programs.” For a complete list of rankings, visit the website of Community College Week, www.ccweek.com.
