Missouri State University and Ozarks Technical Community College have signed four articulation agreements providing a seamless pathway for OTC students to transfer their Associate of Arts degree to complete a bachelors degree entirely online with MSU.


Specifically, a Bachelor of Science in finance, communication, general business, and health services clinical services can be completed online for OTC students who have earned an Associate of Arts.  OTC students may transfer their credits for junior status with Missouri State University. 


These agreements continue the strong relationship between OTC and Missouri State, said Dr. Hal Higdon, chancellor of Ozarks Technical Community College. The online completion provides another chance for students to continue their education at an outstanding university while staying close to home and maintaining the flexible schedule they need.


Missouri State University is very fortunate to have a community college partner like OTC, said Missouri State President Clifton M. Smart III.  Our relationship truly is the envy of the entire state.  The agreements we are signing today are yet another step in our relationship as we strive to provide educational opportunities for students.


According to the agreement, transfer students from OTC will have access to financial aid, scholarships and student services on the same basis as native students.
