Ozarks Technical Community College and Missouri State University will host the Escalation Workshop, a powerful, film-based program that highlights relationship-violence awareness and prevention. The event will be held Tuesday, March 15 from 7-9 p.m. at the OTC Springfield Campus in Lincoln Hall, room 211.
Produced by the One Love Foundation, the Escalation Workshop was founded in 2010 to honor the memory of Yeardley Love, an athlete from the University of Virginia who was murdered by her estranged boyfriend. One Love works with young people across the country to raise awareness about the warning signs of abuse and encourage communities to work to change the statistics around relationship violence.
