Ozarks Technical Community College honored the late Bill G. Williams and his wife Marie Williams with the naming of the Bill G. and Marie Williams Classroom in a ceremony today, Wednesday, March 18 at the OTC Lebanon Center.
Bill Williams, son of the late Bill G. Williams, spoke on behalf of the Bill G. and Marie Williams Trust during the ceremony. Mr. Williams and his family are strong advocates for providing advanced educational opportunities to students in the Lebanon area.
“We are grateful to the Williams family for their generosity and support of the OTC Lebanon Center,” said Dr. Hal Higdon, chancellor of Ozarks Technical Community College. “Their gift will help us continue to provide high-quality, affordable educational opportunities that are close to home for Lebanon-area students.”
The Bill G. and Marie Williams Classroom is located in the portion of the OTC Lebanon Center that is currently leased to Missouri State University. MSU-Lebanon offers a variety of courses at the center through its partnership with OTC.
