Ozarks Technical Community College’s late night classes were the subject of a feature that aired on NBC’s Nightly News on Sunday, November 13.  NBC interviewed Dr. Hal Higdon, chancellor of the College, as well as an instructor and several students, on the benefits of classes being offered during non-traditional hours.

OTC began offering the late night classes in the spring of 2010.  The schedule takes advantage of classrooms that are filled to capacity during the day but sit empty late at night.  Additionally, the classes help to accommodate students whose work schedule could otherwise prevent them from continuing their education.  A wide variety of classes are available, including science, computer, English, math, and psychology courses.
