OTC hosts food drive during National Hunger Awareness Week

Ozarks Technical Community College will host a system-wide food drive beginning Monday, Nov. 17 through Friday, Nov. 21. The food drive will coincide with National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.

Students are encouraged to bring nonperishable, in-date foods to donation boxes located at each OTC campus or center (glass containers will not be accepted). The college will award a trophy to the campus or center that collects the most pounds per student.

The following organizations will benefit from OTC’s food drive:

OTC Springfield Campus – Crosslines and Rare Breed

OTC Richwood Valley Campus – Least of These

OTC Table Rock Campus – Christian Action Ministries

OTC Lebanon Center – L-Life Food Bank

OTC Waynesville Center – Good Samaritan of the Ozarks
