A new avenue for meeting the needs of the students of Ozarks Technical Community College will be announced at a press conference on Wednesday, September 9, at 9 a.m., in the Atrium of the Information Commons at the College’s Springfield campus.  The joint announcement will provide information regarding the College’s new partnership with Care to Learn, a fund established by local businessman Doug Pitt and designed to meet the crucial needs of Hunger, Health and Hygiene for students throughout the Ozarks.

Wednesday’s press conference will include remarks from Pitt, as well as from Ozarks Technical Community College President Dr. Hal Higdon, Executive Director of the OTC Foundation and Vice President for Institutional Advancement Cliff Davis, and two instructors who work with students whose education will be directly affected by this new Fund.  OTC is the first college to partner with the Care to Learn Fund; the organization currently works with the Springfield and Nixa Public School systems.
