A popular board game comes to life in the interactive production “Clue: The Musical,” the first-ever musical presented by Ozarks Technical Community College. The musical will be presented at the historic Gillioz Theatre in downtown Springfield April 26-28, with performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. This will be the OTC Fine Arts Department’s sixth annual spring prouction.
The internationally known game is now a fun-filled musical, which brings the world’s best-known suspects to life and invites the audience to help solve the mystery. Who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room and with what weapon? Comic antics, witty lyrics and a beguiling score carry the investigation from room to room.
At each performance, the audience will receive forms to help them deduce the solution from clues given throughout the evening. Three audience members will choose from cards representing the potential murderers, weapons and rooms. There are 216 possible solutions! Only one hard-nosed female detective is qualified to unravel the merry mayhem.
Tickets for “Clue: The Musical” are $8 each. To purchase tickets, contact the Gillioz Box Office by calling (417) 863-9491 or visiting www.gillioz.org. For more information, visit www.otc.edu/springplay.
