The OTC Foundation, the fundraising arm of Ozarks Technical Community College, will host a joint press conference with CoxHealth and St. John’s Health System at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, to announce an unprecedented partnership that will affect students in the College’s Allied Health programs.  The event will be held in the Atrium of the Information Commons on the Springfield campus, 1001 E. Chestnut Expressway.

Dr. Hal Higdon, president of the College, will speak at the press conference, along with Robert Bezanson, president and CEO of CoxHealth, and Jon Swope, president and CEO of St. John’s Health System.

The OTC Foundation is currently engaged in its first-ever Major Gifts Capital Campaign; these gifts are contributions toward the Foundation’s $2.5 million fundraising goal for the Campaign’s Student Scholarships Initiative.  Other initiatives in the Campaign include:  Center for Health Education, $2 million; Student Support Programs, $2 million; and Workforce Development, $3 million.
