OTC construction, parking and how it will affect you this summer

In the summer of 2016, there will be several construction projects on and around the Ozarks Technical Community College Springfield Campus. All of these improvements will impact parking and traffic flow on the OTC Springfield Campus.

As you head to campus for the first day of summer classes on June 6, please be aware that:

  • A-Lot, on the southeast corner of Central Street and N. Sherman Avenue, is closed for re-surfacing. That lot will be closed for approximately six weeks.
  • F-Lot, on the southwest corner of Central Street and Hampton Avenue, is open, but is only accessible from the entrance on Hampton Avenue.
  • E-Lot, on the northeast corner of Central Street and N. Sherman Avenue, is permanently closed to accommodate the City of Springfield’s relocation of Central Avenue project that will create an east-west corridor to the north of the OTC Springfield campus.
  • D-Lot, at the northwest corner of Central Street and N. Sherman Ave., is closed so City Utilities can complete work on water line relocation and to accommodate the Central Street relocation project. It will be closed most of the summer

We appreciate your patience as OTC works with its public partners to improve traffic flow and make these much-needed improvements to campus.
