The Center for Workforce Development at Ozarks Technical Community College has joined the Missouri Solar Energy Industries Association (MOSEIA), a group that works to support the solar industry and sustainable energy in Missouri.

Through membership in this organization, the Center for Workforce Development will have opportunities to communicate and work with trainers and vendors in the solar industry.  Additionally, the Center will be able to consult with MOSEIA regarding the best options for development of new programs to be offered locally.  Other benefits of membership in MOSEIA include the ability to help shape future policies for the solar industry, workshop and training opportunities, and access to the latest solar industry news and information.

Staffed by experienced trainers and consultants, the Center for Workforce Development offers customized training designed to develop businesses and enhance the local workforce.  The Center provides a variety of training options, including courses in lean manufacturing, management development, and quality and process improvement, as well as computer and technical workshops.  In addition, the Center operates the Transport Training Institute and is an authorized OSHA Training Institute provider.  For more information on these and other training opportunities available through the Center for Workforce Development, visit www.otc.edu/workforce.
