SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) honored Ozarks Technical Community College’s Department of Communications and Marketing with six Medallion Awards at its regional conference held Oct. 1-3 in Davenport, Iowa.
OTC’s Communications and Marketing team brought home the following awards.

“This year, our communications and marketing team launched a new campaign that elevates the college’s brand,” said Dr. Hal Higdon, chancellor of Ozarks Technical Community College. “This recognition from their peers at other community colleges is a testament to their talent and creativity. These Medallion Awards recognize outstanding achievement in communications and marketing at community and technical colleges in Districts 3 and 5. District 3 represents schools in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and the Canadian Province of Ontario. District 5 covers Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, the Canadian province of Manitoba, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. The competition is the only one of its kind to honor excellence exclusively among marketing and public relations professionals at two-year colleges.
