Ozarks Technical Community College’s Center for Workforce Development, along with the College’s Community Enrichment Center, will host a free information session on occupations and OTC training programs for a variety of healthcare fields, including several new classes offered in partnership with Boston Reed College. The session will be held Tuesday, December 6, at 5:30 p.m. in the Center for Workforce Development, located at 614 N. Washington Avenue in Springfield.
Programs to be covered during the session include: Certified Nurse Assistant, Personal Care Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Personal Trainer Certification, Certified Medical Assistant, EKG Technician, Electronic Health Records and Veterinarian Assistant. Additionally, guests will learn about the seated and online hybrid class options, clinical requirements, and career opportunities in southwest Missouri.
