The OTC Foundation, the fundraising arm of Ozarks Technical Community College, has received a gift from the family of William N. Bunselmeyer to establish an endowed scholarship in memory of their father and owner of Hoffman Supply Co., Inc., now doing business as Johnstone Supply.  The scholarship, which will be awarded beginning in the fall 2012 semester, will benefit students in the College’s Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning program.

“We appreciate the generosity of the family of Mr. Bunselmeyer, and we are honored that they have chosen to remember their father by supporting the education of future industry leaders,” said Dr. Hal Higdon, chancellor of Ozarks Technical Community College.  “Their investment will help students pursuing careers in heating, refrigeration and air conditioning for years to come.”

“The support of area businesses remains a vital part of our students’ success, and we are grateful to Hoffman Supply for the establishment of this scholarship,” added Cliff Davis, vice chancellor for Advancement | Student Affairs | Workforce Development and executive director of the OTC Foundation.  “This is a demonstration of confidence in our students and our programs, and it is greatly appreciated.”
