Ozarks Technical Community College’s Center for Workforce Development, the Ozarks Center for Sustainable Solutions (OCSS) at Drury University and the Southwest Area Manufacturers Association (SAMA) are teaming up to provide a seminar on identifying cost saving opportunities.  The free seminar will be held Tuesday, January 12, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Center for Workforce Development.

Attendees will learn about the benefits of conducting onsite assessments that identify potential cost reduction opportunities within your business.  OCSS performs these assessments throughout the state of Missouri, and has helped companies reduce waste and save thousands of dollars.

For more information on the seminar, or to RSVP, contact the Center for Workforce Development at (417) 447-8901 or at cwd@otc.edu.  Seating is limited.

Staffed by experienced trainers and consultants, the Center for Workforce Development offers customized training designed to develop businesses and enhance the local workforce.  The Center provides a variety of training options, including courses in lean manufacturing and management development, as well as computer and technical workshops.  In addition, the Center operates the Transport Training Institute and is an authorized OSHA Training Institute provider.  For more information on these and other training opportunities available through the Center for Workforce Development, visit www.otc.edu/workforce.
