A special open house event will be held Thursday, August 11, at the new OTC Lebanon Center, providing an opportunity for students and community members to discover what’s inside the new facility.  The event will take place at the new center, located just south of Interstate 44 at 22360 Highway MM, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.  Visitors can also register for a chance to win an Apple iPad2.

The open house event will include a variety of guest speakers during a program set to begin at 10 a.m.  Speakers will include U.S. Representative Billy Long, Missouri State Representative Darrell Pollock, Vice President and General Manager of Missouri Eagle LLC in Lebanon Brad Brown, and Lebanon Chamber of Commerce President Byron Dudley.

The final touches are being put on the OTC Lebanon Center’s Casey Hall, named after Reuben and Mary Lou Casey of San Clemente, Calif., who donated the two buildings and more than 13 acres of land to the College.  The total property is valued at approximately $2.6 million and is the largest gift the college has ever received.

Casey Hall is home to 13 new classrooms, a student lounge and student services department.  A branch of the OTC Bookstore, along with a Center for Workforce Development office, and some technical education programs, will be located in the building east of Casey Hall.
