OTC’s Counseling Services department and numerous community agencies are hosting the Clothesline Project in the Jared Family Atrium today, Wednesday, April 25 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The Clothesline Project is a national effort to raise awareness about the devastating effects of relationship and domestic violence. The project spreads a message of hope while providing resources to those involved in violent relationships.
All OTC students and employees are encouraged to attend. Participants will have the opportunity to decorate T-shirts with positive messages for those affected by domestic violence. The shirts — which will be displayed on a clothesline in the Jared Family Atrium — are a powerful, visual reminder that we all have a responsibility to “End the Silence” surrounding domestic violence.
