Center for Workforce Development to hold panel discussion on Crisis Preparedness

Ozarks Technical Community College’s Center for Workforce Development will hold a panel discussion on Crisis and Disaster Preparedness for Your Business on Thursday, March 29, from 3-5 p.m.  The seminar, which is co-sponsored by the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, will be held at the Chamber’s headquarters, 202 S. John Q. Hammons Parkway.

Attendees will have an opportunity to hear from local experts on how to mitigate damages during unforeseen circumstances.  The meeting is open to anyone who desires to be prepared, including businesses, civic organizations, non-profit organizations and churches.  Guest panelists include:

• Ryan Nicholls, Emergency Management Director for Springfield-Greene County Office of Emergency Management
• Dr. Loren Lundstrom, Retired Lt. Colonel of the United States Air Force; instructor on terrorism and national security at OTC, Webster University and Missouri State University
• Ty Davisson, Training and Exercise Specialist for Springfield-Greene County Office of Emergency Management
• Glenda Harrison, Instructor on risk assessment and analysis at OTC
