Adult Education and Literacy

Thanks for your interest in OTC’s Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) program. Our free classes help you prepare for the High School Equivalency exam. To participate, you must be at least 17 years old and not enrolled in high school.

Classes are offered at the OTC Table Rock Campus every Monday through Thursday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4-8 p.m.

To enroll, visit room 107 at the Table Rock campus on the first and third Monday of the month at 8 a.m. or the first Tuesday of the month at 4 p.m.

Classes are also offered in Springfield, Nixa, Bolivar, Buffalo, Marshfield, Reeds Spring and Lebanon.

Established in 1991, OTC’s Adult Education and Literacy program serves more than 900 students on an annual basis. The program’s mission is to provide specialized instruction for students who wish to build or refresh the basic academic skills necessary for success in work and life.
