Even though classes have already begun at Ozarks Technical Community College, students are still signing up. However, those enrolling at the last minute may not have to miss anything:  OTC will once again offer Late Start courses, or classes that begin after the semester is already underway.

“The Late Start option gives our students the opportunity to get the courses they need, even if they enroll after the standard classes are full,” said Dr. Hal Higdon, chancellor of Ozarks Technical Community College. “This program is a great example of the flexibility available at a community college, and of the ways we work to meet the needs of our students.”

First offered at OTC in the fall of 2009, the Late Start classes will meet for 14 weeks beginning on September 4. More than 20 courses are available in a wide variety of programs, including welding, culinary arts, HVAC, science, English, psychology, and more. Late Start courses are available at the OTC Springfield Campus and through OTC Online.
