Ozarks Technical Community College will present an Evening of Music, featuring the OTC Performance Choir, on Thursday, December 8, at 7 p.m.  The concert will be held at Ellis Hall on the campus of Missouri State University, 907 S. National Avenue.  Public metered parking for the concert can be found directly in front of Ellis Hall, directly behind Cheek Hall, and on the south side of Grand Street.

OTC’s 25-member Performance Choir offers one public concert each semester, as well as performances throughout the year at the OTC Fine Arts Gallery, located on the third floor of the Gillioz Theatre, and at the College’s annual commencement ceremony.  Thursday’s concert will include several works for the holiday season from all genres and periods of music history, including a Nigerian Christmas Carol.

The College’s Fine Arts Department is housed on the third floor of the historic Gillioz Theatre complex in downtown Springfield.  The facility includes a Gallery, which is open to the public and is a part of Springfield’s First Friday ArtWalk event from September to May, as well as classroom, studio and office space for the College’s visual art, music and theater programs.
