The President and CEO of the United Way of the Ozarks, Jennifer Kennally, was sworn in as the newest member of the Ozarks Technical Community College Board of Trustees today, Monday, Aug. 11. Kennally replaces Jackie McKinsey who retired from the board in July. Ms. Kennally will serve out the remainder of McKinsey’s six-year term, which expires in April 2016. At that time, Kennally would be eligible to run for the seat.
“We welcome Ms. Kennally to the OTC Board of Trustees,” said OTC Board Chair Greg DeLong. “She brings a wealth of knowledge to the table with her extensive fundraising experience and work with non-profits; she will be a valuable asset to the college.”
Kennally has served as the president and CEO of the United Way of the Ozarks since 2008, but she will retire at the end of August. Prior to her role with United Way of the Ozarks, she was president of the Mercy Regional Foundation, but most of her career was spent in executive roles with the United Way in Missouri and Kansas. Kennally also served as the executive director of the American Cancer Society of Greene County from 1986-1990. A graduate of Parkview High School, Kennally earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University.
OTC’s six-member board meets the second Monday of every month.
