Ozarks Technical Community College congratulates Board of Trustees Member Howard Fisk on earning the Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) Pinnacle Award. Fisk was presented with the Pinnacle Award on Thursday, Feb. 20 at the CVBs annual Salute to Travel and Tourism awards. According to the CVB, the honor goes to individuals who have been active in the travel industry for many years and have made substantial contributions to the betterment of the Springfield areas travel industry. Since 1976, Fisk’s company, Fisk Limousines, has handled transportation needs for visitors to Springfield and he has been an ambassador for the city. “We know of Howard’s leadership and positive contributions as a member of our Board of Trustees,” said Dr. Hal Higdon, OTC chancellor. “Howard played a major role in OTCs expansion to the Hollister area, Waynesville and, of course, his hometown of Lebanon. Howard is a deserving recipient of the Pinnacle Award. “ Fisk has been a member of OTCs Board of Trustees since 2008.
