Ozarks Technical Community College’s Center for Workforce Development will host a contractor networking opportunity on Tuesday, August 17, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The event will be held on the College’s Springfield campus, in room 211 of Lincoln Hall, 815 N. Sherman Avenue.
Co-sponsored by Missouri Southern State University’s Heartland Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) and Mortenson Construction, this event is designed to inform the small business community of opportunities for upcoming work at Fort Leonard Wood.

Staffed by experienced trainers and consultants, the Center for Workforce Development offers customized training designed to develop businesses and enhance the local workforce. The Center provides a variety of training options, including courses in lean manufacturing, management development, and quality and process improvement, as well as computer and technical workshops. In addition, the Center operates the Transport Training Institute and is an authorized OSHA Training Institute provider.
